【剧情介绍】：年届不惑的艺术史学者约翰•洛克（James Wilby 饰）只身前往非洲，潜心研究法国著名画家德拉克洛瓦的画作及其艺术之旅。他将一座废弃的宫殿改造成工作室，当地一名美丽而神秘的少女贝尔奇斯（Dany Verissimo 饰）服侍约翰的日常起居。
　　某日，约翰收到一个神秘包裹，里面是充满肉欲的速写幻灯片，而这些竟然是德拉克洛瓦的手迹。困惑不已的约翰开始寻找包裹的送出者——金发女子格拉迪瓦（Arielle Dombasle 饰），同时也展开了一段匪夷所思的奇异历程……
