Plot

Yoon Ji-Woo (Kim Hyo-Jin) is an employee for a department store. She feels disenchanted with her job which requires her to keep a fake smile on all day and massage the feet of VIP customers. Her personal life is not much better as she feels detachment from all of her past boyfriends. One day after work, Ji-Woo takes up a mannequin to the roof of the department store. Ji-Woo is thinking about committing suicide. She then places the mannequin on the ledge of the building and leaves for the street, where she will watch its fall.
Meanwhile, pickpocket Kang Ji-Woo (Kim Kkobbi) is caught in the act on the subway by an undercover cop. Before she is hauled away, one of Kang Ji-Woo's accomplices stabs the police officer and takes Kang Ji-Woo away. Kang Ji-Woo and her unscrupulous accomplices drives off in a van. Before the van can get very far they crash into a falling mannequin. Standing nearby, department store employee Yoon Ji-Woo is horrified by what has happened.
The police officers arrive and handcuffs Kang Ji-Woo and Yoon Ji-Woo. The two women then sneak off while the police are distracted ...

Plot/Synopsis

Sleazy historical flick that jettisons accuracy for titillating melodrama. Wong Jing's name is on this picture, so you can get a general idea of what's up.

Director Andrew Lau's semi-serious yet schlocky Category III picture about the last empress of China is an involving, though unbelievable melodrama. Sweet, innocent Yu-Lan (Chingmy Yau) rises to the top of the food chain (Empress Dowager) by learning the art of sex, using it to her advantage, and then being a bitch to everyone who helped her along the way (including Emperor Yu Rong-Guang and his wife Valerie Chow). Helping her is Prince Kung (Tony Leung Ka-Fai), who shares true lust with Yu-Lan for years and years.

Thanks to HK storytelling, all of this historical dramatization seems like high soap opera rather than high art. Hanging the fate of a country on incidents like getting your cat boiled really doesn't ring true; Yu-Lan's loss of innocence is more sensationalized than serialized. Add that to the "sex training" sequences and you're looking at The Last Emperor crossed with Sex & Zen. Seriously though, the film isn't as fetid as your usual Category III, and Chingmy Yau turns in a better-than-usual performance. (Kozo 1996)

   Tomas是個喜歡追求女人並享受性愉悅的外科醫師，他的情婦Sabina是個畫家，而且跟他有著相同的性態度。在一次出外看診過程中，他遇上了小酒館的服務員Tereza並對她產生好感。後來Tereza來布拉格找工作找到他的住處，在Tomas的征服下，兩人很快結為夫妻。在Sabina的幫助下，Tereza成為了一名攝影師。

   後來就發生了歷史上著名的布拉格之春民主化運動以及後來蘇聯軍隊的入侵和鎮壓，而Sabina為了避難很快就去了瑞士日內瓦，留下來的Tomas和 Tereza等人不僅參與並見證了許多活動，而且Tomas還寫了諷刺共產政權的文章，Tereza則拍下了不少照片並交給西歐和美國的記者給予刊登。

   蘇軍占領捷克後，為了避難，兩人也搬到了日內瓦。但是住了一段時間，Tereza認為自己是Tomas生活中的負擔於是她一人帶著愛犬回到了布拉格。為了與Tereza生活在一起，Tomas於是也回到了布拉格找她。雖然兩人重新生活在了一起，可是由於Tomas由於那次發表政論文章的原因而受到政府部門的追究。由於他堅持自己的觀點態度拒絕道歉，於是被迫去做清潔工人。雖然Tomas當了工人，但是他還是可以與一些外面的女人胡搞性愛在一起。於是 Tereza心裡不平衡，就也想試著與別的男人淫亂性歡一次。但試過一次之後，Tereza她反而覺得布拉格太過骯髒了。

   最後兩人搬到了鄉間過上了一段平靜的農村生活，可惜愛犬卻得了癌症，為了減輕它的痛苦，Tomas親手為它注射了安樂死並埋葬了它。

   在一次兩人同朋友去鎮上酒館跳舞次日開車回來的途中，由於大雨的關係，他們發生了車禍而不幸離去。而此時身在美國的Sabina也收到了這個可怕的消息。

Plot:

This is a thoroughly perverse and gore addled category 3 film from Hong Kong. For those who don’t know, category 3 basically means ‘rated as containing nudity and/or hardcore violence’, and if thats what your looking for, this totally incoherent film delivers.
